2024-2025 Erie Jr Otters Travel Hockey Tryouts

Welcome to the Erie Jr Otters Travel Hockey Tryouts Registration!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.

 


2024-2025 Travel Tryouts

The commitment fee will be collected electronically.  At checkout, there will be nothing charged.  A preauthorization will be created, and on April 1, 2024, the commitment fee of $250.00 will automatically be processed if the player is selected.  If the player is not selected, the charge will be deleted and nothing will be processed. 

 

Tryouts Day 1 Procedure

There will be a sign-in table at the front of the rink where we will record attendance, collect any outstanding paperwork, and assign each player a tryout bib number.  The tryout number must be displayed on the back of each player’s jersey for each day of the tryout process.

 

Post-Tryouts

Within three days after the final tryout, team assignments will be posted to our website at www.erieyouthhockey.com. No names will be posted to the website; only tryout bib numbers will appear on the page.  Players who make a travel team must decide to accept or decline their roster spot within 24 hours of the final results posted on the website by emailing boys_travel@erieyouthockey.com or girls_travel@erieyouthockey.com. The head coach or travel director will make every effort to contact each family promptly. However, please understand that it is the family’s responsibility to decline the roster spot. If you do not email the travel director accepting your spot, we will assume that you are NOT accepting your offer, and you will forfeit your commitment fee with no possibility of a refund. The deadline to accept your roster spot is 24 hours from the time of our team announcements.

 


USA Hockey Requirement

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2023-2024 Season.

  • Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
